UST projectors for gaming: latency, refresh rate and HDMI matter more than “4K”
A 120-inch game can feel spectacular, but input lag and supported signal modes decide whether the setup feels responsive.
Input lag is mode-specific
Manufacturers may quote their lowest latency at 1080p/240Hz even when the projector also accepts 4K/120Hz. Compare the exact mode you plan to use.
HDMI 2.1 features simplify consoles

Polaris gaming context
The Polaris supports 4K content and MEMC, but it predates the latest UST gaming generation. It makes more sense for cinematic and casual gaming than as a purchase driven by high-refresh competitive play.
Large screens amplify motion
At 100 inches and above, camera pans and low frame rates are more obvious. Disable motion smoothing for games unless you specifically prefer the look and it does not add unwanted latency.
